I've seen many Tanah Lot shots but yours is diffferent. Were you going for a silhouette shot bro? I think it is great that the sun is setting at that very spot and that you've taken advantage of it. Dramatic indeed. Love the sky and the intense colour of the sun.
kalau dok cucuh wireless jauh2 fire kat orang kat bawah tu sampai ek ek?leh jadi cam kuar2 aura!!! my 2 sen opinion

7asmann, kurang faham la apa yang cuba diperkatakan hehe.
izzaezani, thank you for the kind compliment. i still feel like there's something not quite right about this picture though.
nn, betul!
otopan, tempat ni kat bali.
khairul hafiz, takde kesempatan nak dapatkan gambar seni tradisi.
ezdy, i wasn't really going for a silhouette shot, so i decided to bracket this scene. however, for this particular picture, i used only two out of the three bracketed shots. the reason is because one of the shots wasn't aligned with the rest. nasib baik the HDR process still worked out. as usual, i wanted to bring out as much detail as i can, so i burned the sky portion only (using the adjustment layer technique). tweaked the color balance a bit, but couldn't quite get the blue i wanted for the sky. i guess i forgot one of the steps that i had applied in previous pictures to get that particular shade of blue hehe. initially, i wanted the foreground to be brighter, but the picture looked weird. that's why this picture seems a bit underexposed. i also have a silhouette version of this picture, and it looks quite decent too, in my books.
phalinn, tanah lot is located on the west coast of bali. this particular temple is quite famous, but it's not really open to public. apart from its beauty, it's also well-known for its holy spring water, which doesn't taste salty apparently (quite a phenomenon, considering the location of the spring; i didn't taste it myself).
